College ID Camp
AJ Cochran (above) was selected by the Houston Dynamo as the 16th overall pick in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft
This camp is designed for players and prospects to gain a better understanding of the demands of division 1 college soccer. Over the course of 2 days our staff will train these athletes as if they were current members of the UW soccer team. Within these trainings we will utilize our UW players as demonstrative assistants to help you directly compare your strengths and weaknesses. By the end of the weekend you should have a great understanding of where you are with your development and what tools you need to concentrate on before entering the collegiate environment.
“This is a great opportunity for those players who visualize playing soccer in college to come out and see where they stack up. By this point your fitness should not be an issue after most likely competing in a Holiday tournament. Academically this is a great time to attend camp before school gets back into session. Hopefully you walk away with a positive, yet realistic experience from this ID camp.”
